Working closely with the Bicester Village creative team, we collaborated on bringing to life their Summer Garden & Gatherings event. This consisted of 4 x individual curated gardens from The Bee garden, Scent garden and partnerships with both Blenheim Palace to Waddesdon Manor that helped build community ties with local heritage sites.
We created a full array of installations from Victorian Wrought Iron Gazebo’s, to treating areas of the village with Brick-slip walls and introducing a new Wayfinding Signage package individually colour coded with translucent acrylic to navigate their customers through the Garden Experience.
For the ‘Scent Garden’ activation the idea was to create a truly immersive customer experience that celebrated finding the perfect summer fragrance. Taking the customer on a journey of discovery as they wander through the Floral filled Victorian Gazebo where we planted a series of copper flower sculptures, as you enter and lift the individual lids on each flowers they revealed an aroma of different base notes ranging from Floral to Woody.
You could then wander to the next experience housed just around the corner in the BV Vintage phone boxes, where we installed two large scale copper funnels with a ‘Squeeze Me’ perfumed atomizer pumps that release the Penhaligon’s Summer fragrance.
Each of the copper sculptures were designed and created by our in-house Studio and hand-crafted by our metal production team, the copper material used will naturally age and patina over the duration of the project and blend into the Bicester Village environment.
